The Emergency Preparedness Program Consultants Inc. was founded in 2000 by Jonathan Cuneo. The company
was founded after Jonathan Cuneo and Richard Nudd hosted a three day weekend for boy scouts know as
Emergency Preparedness Weekend. The event was such a success that soon Cuneo was asked to host weekends
for scouts in California, Pennsylvania and Florida. In 2004 Cuneo hosted the second scout weekend in Kingston
Massachusetts.
The staff for the weekend consisted of members of local fire, police and
emergency management. Soon the company began to expand and got in to
the rapidly growing business of private special operations and medical
standbys. Cuneo and selected members of the E-Prep Weekend staff began
training in the following areas, Hazardous Materials. High-Rise Rescue,
Confined Space Rescue, Extrication, Construction site safety and more.

In 2007 the EPPC staff began training in Confined Space and Technical
Rescue under the new OSHA standards. The company began working small
construction site jobs covering confined space and first aid.
n 2008 the company began working with Federal and State rescue agencies to put in place agreements to assist
in the rescue effort of major disasters. The company also began working with other private search and rescue
teams in the Commonwealth.

EPPC now works with a large number of Federal, State and Local emergency service agencies to assist with rapid
response and extraction of trapped and injured disaster victims. EPPC provides many construction companies
with site safety coverage. EPPC is equipped with some of  the newest including state of the art air rescue and
confined space equipment.
In September of 2008 the company began working with the Berkshire
Mountain Search and Rescue League. The two teams under the control of
the state police conduct search and rescue operations in the western
mountain range of the Berkshire Mountains.

The Emergency Preparedness Program Consultants Inc. now has over 20 fully
trained rescue specialists. They provide expert safety and medical coverage
for many local construction sites as well as during major disasters. For more
