When a high-rise rescue is needed, time is against us. We all know that in the modern world of technology and equipment, construction workers and
truck drivers are moving equipment around sites faster everyday. But we also know that faster
means that the chance for injury and accidents is much more likely. As a matter of fact
construction is a high hazard occupation. From 1980 through 1995, at least 17,000 construction
workers died from injuries suffered on the job. Construction lost more workers to traumatic
injury death than any other major industrial sector during this time period. Construction has the
third highest rate of death by injury: 15.2 deaths per 100,000 workers. Only mining and
agriculture experience higher rates. The leading causes of death
among construction workers are falls from elevations, motor vehicle crashes,
electrocution, machines, and struck by falling object.
So you ask how do I keep my site safe, but still proficient and on schedule?
This is where the Emergency Preparedness Program Consultants Inc.
Special Operations Unit and Job Site Safety Unit comes into play. Our highly
trained units have the training and knowledge to keep your site safe without
getting in the way or slowing things down.
EPPC Inc. offers this service for a very low cost. As a matter of fact just
by having EPPC Inc. on scene you could save money on your site insurance.
